Recently several towers in North America have been ringing Cornwall Surprise Major, and it's become popular when surprise major ringers from different towers get together at various events. Over the past two years there have been at least seven quarters of Cornwall rung in North America:

This is a development well to be encouraged. Cornwall is in many ways a good method, better by most measures than some more commonly rung methods. It's no harder than things like Cambridge and Yorkshire, as folks will discover if they approach it with an open mind.

To further encourage this good turn of events, here are some simple quarter peal callings suitable for Cornwall, that should satisfy a variety of needs and tastes.
