AGENDA

Saturday 10/7

10am Convene – ring up – depending on who gets there early it is a good time for novice ringers.

Lunch (about noon) Ringing can continue through lunch. Leland can help arrange quarter peals.

1:00pm Open ringing, with a preference for sounding all 8 bells, doubles with a cover, lower stages for learners, including rounds and call changes. Depending on participants, our band is working on: Plain Bob, Grandsire, Stedman and other Doubles and Minor Methods

5:00pm Ring down/adjourn – Individual supper, or small groups for pub options including Packards, Northampton Brewery, or other local spots

Hotel options: Consider Airbnb.com for lower rates and funky options. Popular hotels: Hotel Northampton for historic ambience, Autumn Inn walk to Smith from upper Elm St., Fairfield Inn Marriott and Quality Inn on Conz St, D. Hotel a little farther, all near I-91. Check rates and options.

Sunday 10/8

Consider a local brunch – Sylvesters or Jakes are great, and lots of other local options.

10am Peal Attempt (arranged in advance). Handbells available for those not involved in peal.

Lunch break before afternoon ringing. Also quarter peals if requested/arranged.

2:00pm Open ringing, same as Saturday.

5:00pm Ring down/adjourn – group pub event depending on enthusiasm

Monday 10/9

10am Quarter peals if requested, local band and fall break practice

Lunch break before afternoon ringing. Also quarter peals if requested/arranged.

1pm Open ringing for remaining ringers.

3pm Ring down/adjourn
