The eighth annual Pittsburgh ringing course will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 8-10 August 2014.

The course will be aimed at helping students develop practical conducting skills. It will be focused exclusively on practical skills, with no time spent on the theory of where calls should go or how to construct, describe or read compositions; students will be expected to arrive having already learned necessary background of that sort. Instead we will focus on issues such as how to observe and make use of the coursing order while ringing, how to effectively communicate with others while ringing, and practice doing just such things while simultaneously keeping our own bell where it belongs.
