The sixth annual Pittsburgh ringing course will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 27 to 29 July 2012.

As last year’s course was so popular, this year’s will be a reprise of that one, aimed at folks learning to ring Plain Bob (doubles or above), or ready to make the transition thereto. The emphasis is not on complexity or even the method Plain Bob itself, but rather on acquiring the skills necessary to ring at this evel well. Students will be asked to do some study beforehand, and no time will be spent on theory. Rather, students will be expected to have already learned that, and be in a position to put it into practice.

Students should be at least comfortable ringing plain hunts on at least five with a cover. Students well above that level, but who stillfind ringing Plain Bob a challenge, will benefit even more.
