As mentioned in the spring issue of the Clapper, four of us have been talking about the state of ringing education in North America. We want to expand this conversation and develop ideas and plans for actions to benefit ringers and ringing in North America. As promised, and with assistance from some other interested ringers, we’ve put together a survey to gather information on the current state of ringing education in North America and on people’s hopes about ringing training.
Here is a link to the North American Ringing Education Survey (new tab).
We ask that you complete the survey by August 20th so that we can compile results and report on it by the AGM in October. It should only take 5-10 minutes of your time and is anonymous unless you choose to identify yourself.
We think that ringing education in North America needs a refresh and that for a refresh to be effective, input from North American ringers is both needed and desired.
We’d love to hear from ALL of you! Please, PLEASE, PLEEEEZE, do fill out the survey!
This Survey is being sent directly to the NAGCR membership. If you know ringers in North America who are not NAGCR members, please forward this to them. We’d like to hear from anyone ringing in North America, whether they are a member of the NAGCR or not.
If you have questions or would like to join the conversation, let us know! Send an email to education@nagcr.org, and we’ll get in touch.
