Annual General Meeting of the NAGCR.

We are receiving registrations to the 2024 AGM meeting scheduled at the start of the colorful fall
season here on “the Mountain” from Thursday, October 17, to Monday, October 21. The
registration form can be found here. Please take a few minutes to register and to submit your
payment via credit card or check. It is also important that you begin the process to find lodging
either in Sewanee or in Monteagle, about five miles from Sewanee. For a list of accommodations

A variety of classes will be available on Friday the 18th and there will be a full peal attempt Monday
afternoon. The weekend will be replete with ringing experiences for all levels of ringing skills and
experience. For handbell ringers, we are planning to have a community event Saturday afternoon at
All Saints Chapel, and you have been invited to ring at the Parish of St. Mark and St. Paul Sunday
morning. For the non-ringers who may be accompanying you, there are plenty of local opportunities
from shops with unique art and gifts to exploring the University Domain, 13,000 acres on the
Cumberland Plateau.
The registration form includes arrival and lodging information. For those taking the Groome
Shuttle from either the Nashville or Chattanooga airports, please make your reservations on the
Groome website. Your drop-off (and pick up) point is Monteagle at the Smoke House Lodge. We
will have shuttle service available between Sewanee and Monteagle, and from the Sewanee Inn to the
Tower, so it is important that we know how you are traveling and where you will be staying.
As soon as we receive a significant number of registrations, we will start the scheduling process.
